The FRITZ!App Smart Home is a user-friendly remote control for your FRITZ! Smart Home devices, whether you're at home or on the go. It can be easily set up with a FRITZ!Box that has FRITZOS 7.10 or higher.
With the FRITZ!App Smart Home, you have a practical tool to control various Smart Home functions. You can:
- Use the FRITZ!DECT 200 smart plug to turn on the aquarium, heat up the coffee machine, or power down media players and TVs overnight.
- Utilize the outdoor FRITZ!DECT 210 smart plug to monitor e-bike charging costs or activate atmospheric garden lighting.
- Take advantage of the FRITZ!DECT 301 radiator control to warm up your living room to your preferred temperature and save money with automatic heating plans.
- Create a pleasant atmosphere in the evening with the FRITZ!DECT 500 LED light, or energize your mornings with stimulating lighting.
In the FRITZ!App Smart Home, you can arrange your Smart Home devices according to your preferences. Just tap and hold a tile until it's released, then move it to the desired position.
But that's not all your FRITZ! Smart Home can do. Registering new Smart Home devices with your FRITZ!Box is as simple as pressing a button. You can easily configure heating plans, automatic switching, templates, and groups in the user interface of your FRITZ!Box. The new FRITZ!DECT 400 switch allows you to control your floor lamp or outdoor lighting through FRITZ!DECT 200 and 210. And our latest product, the FRITZ!DECT 440 switch with four buttons and a display, lets you adjust the brightness of the FRITZ!DECT 500 LED light and check the temperature for FRITZ!DECT 301.

If your FRITZ!Box does not have a public IPv4 address for its internet connection, there may be some limitations when using on the go in certain mobile or Wi-Fi networks.

Question: How can I register with another FRITZ!Box?
The FRITZ!App Smart Home supports operation with only one FRITZ!Box. If you want to switch to another box, go to the settings and select "New Login." To log in to the new FRITZ!Box, you must be connected to its Wi-Fi network.
Question: Why can't I access my FRITZ!Box while on the go?
Make sure you have enabled "Use on the go" in the settings. To change the settings, you need to be connected to the Wi-Fi network of your FRITZ!Box.
Some internet service providers, especially cable providers, may offer connections where remote access from the internet to your home connection is not possible or has restrictions due to the absence of a public IPv4 address. The FRITZ!App Smart Home usually identifies such connections automatically and notifies you accordingly. These types of connections are referred to as "DS-Lite," "Dual-Stack-Lite," or "Carrier Grade NAT" (CGN). If necessary, you can contact your provider to inquire about obtaining a public IPv4 address.
